Skogly

The Oslo Buddhistsenter invites you to join one of their English-speaking retreats.
Skogly is one hour north of Oslo and a combined family cottage and small retreat center for 10 participants. Skogly lies in very beautiful surroundings with a lake and lots of silence and has simple standard with compost loos and hot and cold running water inside. It takes 1 hour by train or car to get there. It can also be rented for solitaries.
One of them are in the beautiful archipelago outside Stromstad just across the border to Sweden. Two of the retreat centres are in the midst of deep Norwegian woods, one being a dedicated Tibetan retreat centre 50 minutes from Oslo. They have a wonderful atmosphere of beautiful simplicity.
